What We've Built Since August
We announced the launch date on August 23. Since then we've been playing Elemixies, measuring it, and changing whatever didn't hold up. The biggest changes are in the arena.
Every Elemixie Can Win
We built a battle simulator to test the arena, and it found a problem. Rarity decided almost every fight. A common Elemixie at level 50 with 5 stars lost to a level-10 mythic with 1 star 99 times out of 100. Every coin and level spent on a favorite common would have been wasted the moment a mythic showed up.
So we made rarity a head start, not a ceiling. A mythic starts with 1.5 times a common's stats, and that gap stays the same at every level. Once a common is 12 levels ahead, it matches the mythic's health and power.
The computer opponents play fairer too. They used to fire an ability the instant it was ready. Now they pause first, the way a player has to spot a ready ability and tap it. The pause is 2 to 4 seconds against Beginner opponents and 0.5 to 1.2 seconds at Elite. A battle lasts up to 60 seconds, and if time runs out, the team with more health left wins. Read the details on the arena page.
Adventures Go Farther
In our first tests, a Scout adventure at the bond camp could send you to the same places as a Legend adventure. Each of the six tiers now adds a ring of spots farther from the camp and keeps all the nearer ones. Scout adventures stay around the meadow, and Legend reaches the outermost edge of the map.
Your Elemixies follow the real paths through the cave tunnels and across the sky islands. The first adventure you finish at each tier pays a bonus, from 10 coins at Scout to 400 at Legend. What waits at each spot stays a surprise.
New Elder Quests
One of the elders' quests used to ask for a mix. A mythic mix takes 8 hours and you can run one mix at a time, so a mix started late in the day couldn't finish before the daily reset. In its place, the elders ask you to win an arena battle or finish a bond camp adventure with an Elemixie of their element on your team. It has to be their own element, so a magma Elemixie won't count for the fire elder.
A Shrine Full of Smoke
Start a mix at the mixing shrine and each parent's chamber fills with smoke in its element's color. The smoke pours into the middle chamber, which swirls in the new element's color until you collect your new Elemixie.
Smaller Things
A RECALL button takes you back to a spawn point without resetting your character. It charges for 3 seconds, and moving or jumping cancels it. After a recall you wait 30 seconds before the next one. Roblox's own Reset button works the same way now.
Open an Elemixie's details and tap the round "i" beside STATS. A sheet explains all six roles and five stats, one line each.
The odds for every egg now go down to each Elemixie. Each rarity row says how many Elemixies share it and the chance of hatching each one.
After a battle, Battle Again brings your team back with every Elemixie already in its lane. And when a server is about to update, a banner tells you how long you have and that your progress is saved.
See you on September 26.
