Getting Started

Elemixies is a creature collection game. You explore the world, befriend elemental creatures, and slowly fill out a collection of 90 species. Here's how your first hour goes.

Your Starter Egg

You arrive at a spawn point with a starter gift waiting nearby. Walk up and hold the Hatch prompt to open your starter egg. It always contains a common Elemixie, and it joins your team right away. It follows you around from then on.

Collecting in the Wild

Wild Elemixies wander all over the world. Walk up to one and hold the Collect prompt for a moment and it joins your backpack.

Only the five base elements appear in the wild: fire, earth, water, air, and void. The ten mixed elements only come from mixing.

Catch a mythic in the wild and the whole server hears about it in chat, biome and all.

The Six Biomes

The world has six biomes to explore, and each one leans heavily toward one element. Here's the lay of the land:

The Desert The Forest The Lake VIP Island boat The Cave underground, beneath the mountain The Meadow The Sky Islands float high above the meadow cyclone pads N

The sky islands really do float right above the meadow; a cyclone pad is the only way up. The boat at the lake's dock sails VIP Pass holders out to VIP island.

The Meadow
The Meadow Where you start. All five elements appear evenly here.
The Desert
The Desert Mostly fire Elemixies, plus an oasis and some very old bones.
The Forest
The Forest Mostly earth Elemixies, under the birches by the old ruins.
The Lake
The Lake Mostly water Elemixies, out among the islands.
The Cave
The Cave Mostly void Elemixies. Look for the torch-lit door at the base of the mountain.
The Sky Islands
The Sky Islands Mostly air Elemixies. Step on a cyclone pad to ride the wind up.

VIP Pass holders can also take the boat from the lake dock to VIP island, where all five elements appear evenly.

Five elders stand around the meadow, each near the way into their biome, and between them they offer three quests a day. Complete all three and you earn a bonus crystal egg on top of the coin rewards.

Wandered too far, or stuck somewhere? Recall, the button to the right of your backpack, brings you back to the meadow in a few seconds without resetting your character. Hold still while it winds up; moving cancels it. Roblox's own Reset button does the same thing here, so nobody has to fall to get home.

The Tutorial

The tutorial walks you through the whole game, one step at a time. A banner in the top left corner shows your step and how many of its 10 tasks you've done, and an arrow points the way. Tap the banner to see the last instruction again.

  1. Hatch your starter egg.
  2. Meet the five elders. Ember, Bramble, Coral, Shade, and Zephyr stand around the mixing shrine. Each sends you to catch one Elemixie of their element: a Kindling Kit, a Spriglet, a Puddle Pup, a Violet Shnook, and a Gustling. Each one appears just for you, a short walk past its elder.
  3. Visit Alp at the shop. He shows you how to merge your starter with the matching Elemixie you caught, then how to mix two of your other catches at the mixing shrine.
  4. Battle and adventure. Mera sets up your first arena battle, and Lillibelle takes you on a bond camp adventure.
  5. Get your first egg. Buy a basic egg at the shop, then hatch it from your backpack. If you can't buy one, talk to Alp and he gives you your first egg.

Each elder's Elemixie you catch pays 10 coins and 2 player XP, and the merge, the mix, the arena battle, and the adventure pay 75 coins and 10 player XP each. That's 350 coins, the price of a basic egg. If you can buy eggs, a First Egg bar under the banner counts your coins toward it.

Until you finish, trading, Return to the Wild, foraging, and the dojo wait, and merging, mixing, the arena, and bond camp open only on their own step. Eggs are yours to buy and hatch any time, but only the egg you hatch on the last step finishes the tutorial.

Finish the last step and a Tutorial Complete window opens, with the Teacher's Pet badge. The elders' daily quests begin right away.

Coins

Coins are the game's currency. You earn them from quests, arena battles, foraging, bond camp, elder quests, daily logins, and playtime rewards. You spend them on eggs and backpack upgrades. Most coin sources share a daily cap of 1,000 coins (2,000 for Elemixies+ subscribers); one-time rewards like the tutorial's rewards and first-clear bounties do not count against it. Log in daily for the reward calendar: 1,500 coins and six eggs per 30-day cycle.

Where to Next

Once your team has a few members, the mixing shrine is the door to the other half of the collection. Ten of the fifteen elements only exist through mixing.
